this is hani.
firstly, err... mr.yong, we actually thought that your singing was really good (plus the cute actions!!!). the kids reallly enjoyed it cuz you were really supporting and funny. you qualify for malaysian idol 3rd season.:D
secondly, i do agree that for level 2, we have a problem with time management. talking from my group's experience, we spent most of the time with the kids reading their own books. we thought that it would not be appropiate if they did not finish the book. they, themselves also wanted to finish the book. so story telling session did not take place. (nyway, from the first session response.. they did not enjoy story telling.. then again i think it was due to our own fault as we had no actions/good technique during the story telllig)i seriously think we do not have enough time to fit all the activies above - without 'rushing' of cuz. the other level 2 groups (in my room) also had time to read the books only and no storytelling session (i think). a question: can we stop the kids while they are reading and go on to the next activity? i think we should. in a nice way. emm... we seriously need to work on the time management issue.
then comes the issue of fitting in a session for homework. i feel that will be quite hard. (my opinion)as we are already struggling to fit in the storytelling session. lets not have a slot for homework (i feel that its not evryweek that they would have some homework problem to ask us). but if they do really want our assistance, we try to do it after the reading slot. finish the reading quickly or something. i do not want to let them do their homework during the journalling time as journalling is more important.
my opinion k.
